• Oracle were first on board and a fantastic offer has been uncovered which means that UKita members will be able to access the Oracle partner network completely FREE OF CHARGE from September 2006.  Details will be made available soon.
  
  
• O2 have joined as the second partner.  Bob is planning to hold a launch event in September where members and other interested parties can find out more.
  
  
• IBM was announced as the latest corporate business.  Full details of their offer will be released soon. 
  
  
• IET (The Institution of Engineering & Technology) has also formed a strategic partnership with UKita, which will provide added value to members in the form of access to information, training and events.  A series of joint events are being planned.
  
  
• Birmingham Forward attended the event to bring information about their offering, further to the announcement that they are to partner UKita.  An event will be held with Birmingham Forward in the near future.
  
  
• NEW BENEFIT – ‘SOFT LANDING ZONE’ provided by UK Basepoint, will provide an opportunity for UKita members to establish international commercial operations, by providing office accommodation and ‘hands-on’ support abroad.  Full details will be available soon.
