The Business IT Guide is an online tool designed to help managers and leaders of smaller firms understand how technology could benefit their business and support them in taking the necessary action.

The Guide has been developed by e-skills UK with industry experts and small businesses, and with funding support from the Sector SKills Development Agency (SSDA) and the London Development Agency.

About the Guide
The Business IT Guide is designed to help small businesses identify ICT that could help their business, through a wide range of high quality business IT advice, and to support them in taking action. The Guides will:

Increase confidence by providing quality, trusted, relevant advice on demand
Improve awareness and understanding of the business benefits of different technologies
Improve competence by providing targeted information written by professionals
Aid successful action and implementation through guidance and support

Who is it for?
The Guide is aimed mainly at smaller businesses, with fewer than 10 staff, but will be of use to any business that does not have dedicated internal ICT expertise (typically organisations with up to as many as 25 people). The Guide can be used by anybody within such a business to explore how ICT could help their business make money, save time, save money and avoid problems.
