European BestPractice-IT Award for SMEs

As part of UKita’s tie-up with the European PIN-SME network, members are being invited to apply for the European BestPractice-IT Award. The award, worth up to €20000, recognises best practice in the use and application of ICT in business, including by ICT suppliers and consultants. To apply owners, decision-makers or ICT responsibles in the enterprise should complete an online application form – the BestPractice-IT check – by 31st January. As well as a chance to win the European BestPractice-IT Award, the information provided will form the basis for an individual BestPractice-IT company profile which will appear in an online database of European best practice IT case studies.
What exactly is the “European BestPractice-IT Award for SMEs“
The European BestPractice-IT Award is an award for SMEs in all kind of businesses. Once a year it is awarded - in combination with a special prize - by BestPractice-IT to a European enterprise which has improved processes by the realisation of an ICT approach and thus has given a competitive edge. The Award serves as an incentive for entrepreneurs to provide other enterprises with exemplary ICT approaches in terms of strong European SMEs. European BestPractice-IT Award for SMEs currently amounts to €25000.
 
Who can apply for the European BestPractice-IT Award for SMEs?
All SMEs in Europe with up to 1000 employees may apply - irrespective of the industry in which they operate - which have optimised processes by their exemplary ICT approach and thus increased their competitiveness. The application should be submitted by the entrepreneur/manager responsible for ICT within the enterprise.
 
How can SMEs apply?
SMEs should complete the enterprise check (attached or online www.bestpractice-it-award.eu) for the application in the BestPractice-IT enterprise network. You may complete the questionnaire electronically but may also print the PDF form and return it via e-mail, fax or postal letter.
