Three years after Poland’s entry into the EU, the country offers an entirely new set of opportunities for those UK companies who have not, as yet, discovered the benefits of doing business in this low-risk, high-growth economy. Poland is increasingly attractive for firms wishing to maintain global competitiveness by outsourcing non-core operations to Poland. For manufacturers focusing on innovation, Poland is an ideal location for their lower-value added manufacturing. Firms with higher-than-acceptable finance and admin costs can look to moving some back-office functions there. Investors might also consider EU and Polish government grants and incentives for investment, training and R&D activities. With ready access to a plentiful supply of highly skilled and motivated employees, Poland is undergoing a construction and property boom which is likely to go on for several years, much of it funded by the EU. British goods and services are nowhere near as noticeable on the rapidly-growing Polish consumer and capital investment markets as products from other western European EU member states. British business is clearly missing out. This seminar shows the market’s potential, presents case studies of success stories, and – most importantly – explains in practical terms the steps you need to take to get started in Poland.

The event is aimed at medium-sized companies which have yet to explore the business potential of Central and Eastern Europe.
