Black Country 'tune in' at Red Fort
28th March 2008

A change of venue for the March Black Country Offline saw both members and guests sample the delights of the Red Fort Indian buffet style restaurant in Wolverhampton city centre.

With plentiful parking space (and free after 6pm), the Red Fort provided an excellent venue to ‘turn off, turn up and tune in’.

A number of visitors came to experience the Black Country branch in a social atmosphere (unsure if that’s wise after a beer or two), and we also spotted the long lost Darren Cox who’s been kept so busy by his clients that he’d all but vanished from the face of the earth. But he turned up, got stuck in and we lost count of the number of times he went to the buffet counter.

So a healthy turnout saw lots of opportunities for exchanges of business cards and impromptu meetings taking place – Nigel Mills and Sharon Talbot were spied huddled in a corner. They said they were talking business but Nigel was definitely smiling too much!
