As soon as you join us, you become part of a national network of IT businesses which we promote through PR and the media and to our partners in the UK and overseas.

This is what happens next:-

Directory Links:

  • A priority Orange pin appears immediately on our Good IT Guide map  - member pins appear above the blue pins in user searches, has FULL contact details and extra information about your company and a followable search engine link to your site
  • This Good IT Guide directory is the website that we promote in all our PR, media and partner promotion activity
  • An entry in our directory on www.ukita.co.uk - again with a quality SEO link and optional members-only information only visible to other members. Your details are also Tweeted out to our followers in the appropriate region and technology areas for you business together with your Twitter ID

PR

  • Your company details are circulated to over 3,500 companies including our members, subscribers and contacts.
  • Your company name appears on the UKITA homepage under Latest Members with a link to your site
  • We will explain the  special PR offers available to members

Welcome INDUCTION

Usually a 30 minute or so phone discussion where we will:

  • Take time to understand your business and your aims for the next 12 months so we can explain the UKITA features and benefits that you are going to find most useful
  • This also help us to signpost the right people and information to you during the year
  • Optimise your pin in the map so that you get shown in the right technology business areas, accreditations and memberships.
  • Show you through the self-service IT business supermarket so that you can make full use of it
  • Talk through whether and how you would like to get involved in a local branch in your locality

  • Briefly explain the special PI Insurance deal available through our partnership with Jelf Group Plc

Other benefits immediately available:

  • We will send your membership certificate for display at your business premises if this is going to be useful to you
Towards the end of your 12 months membership - we get back in touch to find out how well the UKITA offering helped you reach the objectives you had when you first joined and talk about any improvements or new services you would like to see.
