Jon Dickinson, Accolade Development has over ten years of experience building bespoke software solutions. He has worked across a number of business domains including transport, education, hospitality, energy, finance, retail and travel on small single developer projects and large multiple team projects spanning a number of years. After using traditional waterfall style methodologies early on in his career, he switched to more flexible, results oriented iterative development processes based on Agile Software Development in 2004 and has never looked back. As well as practicing Agile Software Development, Jon has coached a number of teams on the adoption of Agile processes and techniques. In 2009 Jon published a book on Grails, an open source web development framework based on the Groovy language for the Java platform. In 2010 Jon has been focusing on mobile application technologies and the opportunities that come with smart phones.
