ICT Active - is the national standard for the provision of Information Communications Technology (ICT) in office buildings.

UKITA's UK-wide partnership with ICT Active is part of our 'Future Workplace" project and enables UKITA members who hold the Quality Mark to get involved in chargeable work inspecting and accrediting office new builds, conversions and refits to one of the 3 ICT Active levels.

Although the ICT Active standard stops at the installed IT cabling, power, conduits and flood-protection, there is the opportunity to add your own IT,  servers, security and desktop audit as a separate exercise and this can be a valuable source of new work.
