Business Continuity is about planning around downtime in technology, people and logistics.
Obvious risks like fire, flood, hardware failure or contractors digging through power, phone or internet connections in the street are usually the first to spring to mind but what about:

  • Lack of access to your premises due to security alerts
  • a supplier of a vital hosted service (Software as a Services - SaaS) ceasing the service
  • Having your e-commerce or onilne payment gateway withdrawn by the supplier
