Description
Black Country Branch - Committee Meeting - August
A chance for Members to contribute to the organisation and running of their Branch. The Committee warmly welcomes any UKITA Black Country Member to come and join us at our monthly meeting and help us grow the UKITA movement here in the Black Country, wider West Midlands and beyond. All we ask is you register your attendance so we have enough tea and biscuits
We're looking to double the number of Black Country Members within 2 years; additional Members means more resources and opportunities for all (MB4U) - a virtuous circle of benefits for everyone. In order to do this though we need YOUR input into the sort of activities you would like to see happening in the Region and UK: maybe you want to host / sponsor an event or activity?
Organising events, stimulating and moderating debates on Forums, promoting the benefits of membership, answering application enquiries etc all takes time and the more we can distribute this among the (volunteering) committee the better for all - it also stops us becoming stale in our approach so we welcome new ideas, input and talent with open arms! Don't be scared thinking that by attending a Committee Meeting you'll be jumped upon and made to sign away hours upon hours of your free time - that doesn't happen until the second month! So if you are interested in helping the Black Country Branch (no matter how much) or would simply like to see what sort of things we are discussing for the future of the Branch then pop along to the meeting or contact any of the committee members - details on the Black Country Home Page. Minutes of all meetings will be available on-line shortly in a restricted access area.
