The primary focus of the organisation is to encourage the growth of small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) through the provision of support, promotion and business networking, encouraging collaboration. Throughout UKITA’s message is the importance of quality and the need to promote the credentials of SME companies in the ICT business sector, and the sector as a whole. UKITA has developed its own Quality Mark Approval Award, been involved in industry accreditations and works with Business Link on their Supply Register.
