The UKita Annual 2008 Christmas Party and Awards ceremony was held on Friday 5th December and was a real success.
The event, held in Solihull, had over 100 people attend, representing over 25 member companies and 6 partner organisations. The event, held every December, recognises member contributions for the previous year as well as progress and achievements by UKita.
The event also allows members to join up to have joint Christmas parties that are not easy to hold for small companies, at a subsidised affordable rate.
The evening was led by new UKita Chairman Mr Charles Huthwaite from Innoware. Charles ran through all the exciting progressions planned for 2009, for UKita. This includes a new office, new website, PR campaign and more. The theme of the night was the ‘UKita Menu 2009’.
After a fun quiz and Irish Bingo, in which the winner won a signed Manchester United frame – donated by Wonderland Memorabilia, there were the 2008 UKita Awards, summarised below.
