What is RFID?

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is an established data carrying technology used to monitor and track a wide range of
information. RFID is being used by an increasing number of business sectors and can be seen all around us from inventory tracking by fashion retailers, smart card applications like the London
Underground’s Oyster Card and even in tickets for the Football
World Cup.
