We are currently developing our new supplier register, which will be used by Business Link West Midlands from 1st April 2007.  The register will seek to engage with consultants, suppliers and other intermediaries that can add real value to businesses in the West Midlands.  This shall include existing suppliers, those previously on the National Consultants Register (that now wish to register with the West Midlands Supplier Register) and other suppliers that may not currently be known or used by the BL Network.  The new supplier register will be available on-line and will be free & attractive to join, with quality assurance processes from the outset.
 
In the first instance, potential suppliers should be encouraged to provide us with their contact details (via the attached web link).  We will then be in touch with them to provide further information and to outline the full application process as it becomes available.  
 
The new register will be ready to invite applications in the New Year.  In the meantime, please direct all enquiries from suppliers wishing to register an interest in joining this register to www.wmregister.co.uk   As previously stated, their contact details will be held on this database and they will receive further information / registration details, as soon as they are available.  Unfortunately, it will not be possible to meet with suppliers or to respond to requests for more information at present.
