Key Role for Founding Member

One of the founding members of the UK IT Association (UKITA) has become the new secretary of the Black Country branch.

Nigel Mills of InterLinx was unanimously voted as the new secretary at the branch’s first committee meeting of 2009 in January. Nigel takes over from Darren Cox who has resigned due to commitments.

Nigel was one of the first companies to join the networking organisation when it was created as go2wm in 1998 by Advantage West Midlands. He’s an active member, committee member and has previously been vice-chair of the local branch.

In addition to his new role as secretary, Nigel remains the branch representative on UKITA’s quality mark committee which oversees the applications by members to be awarded the organisation’s Quality Mark which recognises technical standards and excellence of its members.

InterLinx is based in Wombourne and provides a range of services including virtual servers, online back up services, database design and management and computer maintenance.
