IT TO THE RESCUE FOR UKITA
1st September 2008

The latest member to join the Black Country branch of the UK IT Association (UKita) is IT Rescue Ltd.

IT Rescue Ltd looks after the ICT requirements for small and medium sized businesses with 2-50 users. Based in Kidderminster, the company has recently opened a new office in Kingswinford, West Midlands and employs five staff.

Chris Davies, Managing Director, said: “I’ve worked in the IT sector for 10 years and am now fulfilling an ambition to run my own IT support company delivering a no-nonsense, quality service without the technical jargon.”

He added: ”As a young business I recognise the value of networking and believe our involvement with UKITA will help us raise our profile in the region. We have ambitious plans for the next five years and we’re seeking to develop partnerships with other UKITA members.”

The company offers a range of IT support services including IT maintenance, hardware and software installation, database design, network cabling and website design and optimisation. They are Microsoft and IBM Partners and authorised resellers of AVG and HP.

Nigel Babb, chairman of the Black Country branch said: “We’re pleased to welcome such an enthusiastic member to the Black Country branch which is ideal for growing companies like IT Rescue Ltd.  Any company that relies on ICT or is in the supply chain can join UKita and we have a good mix of businesses that attend our regular monthly networking and social events.”
