A Wolverhampton entrepreneur and UKITA member who won Young Professional of the Year at the Black Country Chamber of Commerce Business Championships has been short-listed for another award.
Daniel Reilly, who runs DJR Marketing Solutions Ltd in Wolverhampton, was still celebrating his recent success at the Chamber awards when he found out he’d been short-listed for the Morgan Foundation Entrepreneur Awards.
The Morgan Foundation was established in 2001 by Steve Morgan OBE, chairman of Wolverhampton FC, chairman of Bridgemere Group of Companies and founder of Redrow plc. The Morgan Foundation Entrepreneur Awards are designed to find a new generation of role models recognising entrepreneurs with vision and drive.
DJR Marketing has been nominated for the ‘Best Business providing an Economic or Social Contribution to the Region over the past 3 years’. Daniel said: “I’m delighted to have won the Chamber award and to find out we’re being considered for another award is terrific.”
He added: “The Morgan Foundation award recognises our commitment to offering a work-life balance, employing those who previously could not find suitable employment due to childcare commitments which restricted the hours they could work. We recognise that employees who achieve this work-life balance are committed and play an integral part in the success of the business.”
