Hi-Port provides a broad range of fixed line telephone systems and associated services, with particular specialisation in computer connected phone systems to improve call handling efficiency and logging of contact information for future reference.

We provide overall communications and contact management consultancy, covering everything from review of current communications arrangements, including line and call charges, through to advice on cost saving opportunities, improved call handling efficiency and logging schemes, associated health and safety implications (eg headsets) to a range of fully costed upgrade plans.

We arrange any new lines or numbers that might be needed together with any premises wiring and equipment (both for phones and any associated computers), equipment installation, software installation, set-up, database work, user and administrator training and on-going maintenance support.

We primarily work south of the Thames, but will go further if support available from a locally based associate. We provide systems for typically up to 100 users, although with new Voice-over-IP schemes there is no theoretical limit to the number of extensions or number of different locations that might
easily be connected. We increasingly partner with computer support firms in the provision of telephone and contact management databases for their clients.

Recent project include provision of freephone numbers in 25 countries (including Australia, Japan, India etc) for termination in the USA for a telephone call conferencing firm; office wiring changes for a firm of Chartered Surveyors in Chelmsford; new 26 extension system for school in St Albans and ongoing phone system maintenance for firms from
Dartford, to Swanley, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead, Chertsey, Chichester, Southampton and New Milton. We recently completed major phone system upgrade for a large local RSPCA animal shelter and have long provided Contact Management and Workflow Software to Mascolo Support, the Bournemouth based IT arm of
the Toni & Guy Hairdressing Franchise Group.

We arrange and install broadband services, often with associated new websites and email addresses etc. and offer voice-over-broadband telephone services using these links. £100 grants still available in Hampshire for new business broadband installations.

Near half of our business now comes from distribution of test and maintenance instrumentation for PROFIBUS Industrial Communications links, as used in large process plants, manufacturing robots and
production lines throughout the UK. Customers include many of the largest UK manufacturing and process firms from Honda Cars, to Rolls-Royce, AstraZenica, Siemens, Gillett UK, ABB, Budweiser etc. Our catalogue includes communications bus testers, computer based oscilloscopes and protocol analysers. We are now adding on-site trouble-shooting services, based on use of these tools.
