What is the UK IT Association ?


UKITA is the independent trade association for small and medium-sized suppliers of IT, digital media and internet-related services throughout the UK

As a trade association we have a rigorous CODE OF CONDUCT which all members are required to sign up to and which forms the core of our ethos of professionalism, fair dealing with customers and keeping up to date with best practice in the fast-moving sectors which our members operate in.  If we recieve complaints against members under the code of conduct, we investigate them and if found to be serious, we will take a range of actions which can include expelling the member from the Association.

Members can display their membership certificate, display our logo on their stationery and website and display their membership certificate in their reception areas and in an electronic format on their website. The online certificate records how many times the certificate hs been looked at by their website visitors which gives members a feel for the value that website visitors place on their membership.

Members are  placed in our online directories including our online membership map.

There is a membership-only email newsletter which keeps members up to date with technology and tech-business issues and they can use the membership hotline to our head office to ask for assistance or information from head office staff and other members.

We are consulted by various regional and national bodies as the 'voice' of the small and medium-sized IT -related companies in the UK.

Members can apply for our Quality Mark and if granted, can display the QM logo and get prominence in the online directories. To see an example of a member's online certificates CLICK HERE and hover over and then click the two different UKITA logos.

We are a private-sector organisation supported entirely by membership subscriptions.
