From April 2008 you will lose four years tax relief potential unless you act. Don’t let this happen.
Find out how to make the most of this opportunity by attending this briefing.
iCentrum, in conjunction with Advantage West Midlands and Business Link, has organised this workshop that will help you identify whether your company is eligible for Research & Development Tax Credits and more importantly, claim them!
In Gordon Brown's last budget he pledged to:
Double investment in science
Encourage greater co-operation between business and Universities
Increase Research & Development tax credits
Over the past few years, despite lots of events telling companies about tax credits, too few companies have claimed because of lack of clarity and too much form filling. These workshops have been designed to make it easier for you. They will:
explain how R&D Tax Credits work
assess whether you are eligible
inform you on how to claim
Keynote Speaker = Sam Vanags, Tax Partner, Grant Thornton
Previously with KPMG, Vanags joined Grant Thornton in 2000 as a tax manager and created the firm's Research & Development (R&D) tax specialist group. She speaks regularly at seminars and conferences and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Institute of Taxation.
Core to Sam's role is helping businesses with R&D tax support. She also leads tax advisory assignments, particularly corporate acquisitions and disposals.
