NEW FACES TO BOOST BLACK COUNTRY EVENTS
13th September 2007

The Black Country branch of WMita formally welcomes two new members to its Committee.

Two members of WMita have joined the Black Country committee as member representatives following the AGM held recently. They are Sharon Talbot from Blue Orange Marketing and Errol Whitter of i54 Media.

Blue Orange Marketing provides practical marketing advice to the public sector and small businesses. i54 Media has extensive knowledge of the film and music industry producing promotional, training, event and conference films.

The two new members were officially inaugurated at a committee meeting last week which focussed on planning the calendar of events for the Black Country for the coming year.

Nigel Babb said: “Our bi-monthly events are educational and informative and provide an opportunity to network with peer groups and provide access to business opportunities. However, we are also planning regular informal events to provide a more sociable environment in which to network whilst having fun. These will be called ‘Black Country Offline:  You just need to Turn-off, turn-up and tune-in’ with the first event planned for 17th October.”
